Fairies at the bottom of your garden

Spring is in the air and time to get back to exploring the wonders of Dorset outdoors.

Here is our intrepid explorer, cudgel at the ready for any emergency up on Beacon Hill above Poole Harbour

which you can see from the rise just beyond the bushes ahead.

Or turn the other way for more rural delights

If your fancy is toward the more mysterious, come along to Upton Park where, sometimes, strange animals camouflage themselves as tree branches

and ducks walk upon water when they think you are not looking!

And, if you are thinking of  fairies at the bottom of your garden or, more likely in the woods,
then you can find, if you look hard, the houses where they live.

Upton Country Park really does cater for the children within us.
